Tenkara Boot Camp hosted in Cardinal Village Resort, Bishop CA. It was the first technical tenkara fly fishing event in California. A whole day of intensive learning on how to fly fish with tenkara rods in more effective ways. Presenters are Frank Burr, who would bring 50 years of tenkara experience to the forum, discussing the Eastern Sierra tenkara waters, and Luong Tam, the rod designer of Tenkara Tanuki, talking about the fundamentals of tenkara system and fly manipulation. Also Dr. Robert Worthing of Tenkara Guide Inc., who will delve deep into the advanced level casting, how to read water, and fish behaviors.
